    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a commercial and creative Senior Communications Specialist to join our talented Marketing Team based at our Head Office in Atherstone


    As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will develop and deliver a communications programme that supports the effective cascade of information on and secures internal engagement in all TNT UK activities.   Working with the senior UK Leadership team, you will create and embed a communications strategy that drives internal engagement, cascades good news and business critical updates to all levels within the organisation, promotes and protects TNT's external reputation and supports effective customer communications. Given that a large proportion of our workforce do not have access to email or computers in their day to day roles, it is critical that your approach supports the needs of the wider business but is also aligned to our Global protocols.


    This is a fantastic opportunity to join TNT at an exciting time in our history as we integrate with FedEx. This role will provide you with substantial business-wide exposure as you will ultimately become a trusted partner and advisor to the senior leadership team within the UK. 

    Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Communications role gained within a large, multi-site organisation with a degree or professional qualification in a communications or journalism related field. You will have a successful track record of communicating transformation and business strategy with the ability to develop aligned strategic communication plans and effectively deliver tactical execution. With excellent command of written English and a keen eye for detail, you will also be comfortable influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders at a senior level. Effective networking skills and the ability to translate complex organisational information into language that is accessible to all levels within an organisation are also key requirements of this role
