Within TNT Storage, Fashion and Solutions we have an exciting opportunity for a new Planning & Development Manager to lead our Planning & Development team, who provide services to some of the largest customers within the UK business.  


As Planning and Development Manager, you will manage a team who are responsible for the governance, compliance and ongoing contract development across all customers within the Solutions business area.  This is a challenging and rewarding role which offers the opportunity to be involved in ongoing change management within a dynamic and diverse business.


The duties of the role include leading the team to plan for new business opportunities and network optimisations, to produce exceptional levels of management information reporting, to maintain governance and compliance through tried and tested change management processes, to arrange and oversee special distribution management and to oversee the delivery of operational projects required to meet and exceed the needs of some of TNT’s largest customers, whilst ensuring at all times that our contractual obligations in terms of governance and compliance are fully adhered to. 


In addition to the robust control management necessary for such large contracts, you will be required to provide sound and effective leadership to the team and should have experience of developing and coaching direct reports effectively.


Communicating and building relationships both with the customers and within TNT will form a key part of the role and you will therefore need to be a credible and confident communicator.


Applicants for the role should also demonstrate excellent leadership and management capabilities, have exceptional levels of attention to detail and have the ability to lead and work as part of a highly successful and productive team.  Determination, self-motivation and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels is also a must.
