We are currently recruiting for an experienced, self-motivated and organised Security Supervisor to join our team at our Edinburgh Depot to lead a team of Security Guards.  The role will be a shift pattern of 5 nights on and 2 nights off, including some weekend work.

 

Responsibilities

Part of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Development and training of the Security Guards to ensure they are compliant and have full working knowledge of the operational requirements for the site.
  • Management of all policies and procedures, including compliance for visitors and contractors into the sites.
  • Monitoring, maintaining and reducing the risk of any criminal acts, e.g. negligence or operational difficulties resulting in loss.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

 

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent people management practices with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team as well as being confident in dealing with people at all levels.
  • Have knowledge and experience in Criminal Law / Civil Law / Employment Law, along with working knowledge of Security Equipment (CCTV) and access control.  
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with all areas of the buisiness.
