We currently have exciting opportunities available in our UK Planning & Engineering team. Move into an influential internal support/consultancy role covering all operational areas where every day is different.  From coordination with cross functional groups, analysing data, to driving high impact results within our business, your role is vital.

Responsibilities

Use your business acumen and creative problem solving skills to effectively identify key business opportunities, build processes to answer such questions and develop methods for measuring their effective implementation. You will be analysing how FedEx and TNT work both on a national and international level.

 

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with multiple databases and data sources in order to quickly provide actionable data and business insight. You must have expert knowledge of Excel (macros, VBA, etc.).  Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools (Business Objects, Spotfire, Oracle or similar) and experience in data mining (SQL, data warehouse) is desirable.

 

Qualifications

So, if you have a degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related quantitative discipline with strong demonstrated communication skills, experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams and a “can do” attitude, please get in touch.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position that will require flexibility with regard to working hours and travel in order to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
